SENIOR PASTOR
TERESA PUGH
Teresa A. Pugh is a native of Ft. Pierce, Fla. She and her family moved from Houston, Texas to the Atlanta, Georgia area in 1989. Reverend Pugh is married to Jerry Pugh. They are the parents of three children, Lonnie Lewis, Ericka Lewis, and Geri Turnipseed. They have also been blessed with five grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. She became a member of Fountain of Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Riverdale, Georgia, and this is where she was called into ministry in 1999. She was licensed in 2000 and ordained in 2002 under the leadership of Pastor Reginald Newman.
Reverend Pugh was educated through the public school system of St. Lucie County, Florida. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice from Texas Southern University, Houston, Texas. She pursued a Master of Science degree in Public Administration at Columbus University and earned a Master of Divinity degree from Mercer University, McAfee School of Theology. She was the 2005 recipient of the Outstanding Woman in Pastoral Ministry from the Baptist Women in Ministry Association.

Reverend Pugh is the former Christian Education and Youth Pastor of The Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. She is also the former Youth Pastor of Fountain of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. She is the executive director of Bread Basket Ministries. She has been the project coordinator for Bread Basket Thanksgiving from its inception. She is a member of Baptist Women in Ministry.

Reverend Pugh has served as the Senior Pastor of Trinity Community Church in Hampton, Georgia since May 2010. Under her leadership the church has grown in number and spirituality and many ministries have been rebirthed.

Reverend Pugh lives by Proverbs 3:5&6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. But in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path."
